GLI finished its 5th annual regulators roundtable with a remarkable success Attendance at the event doubled from last year

US).- Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) announced its recent Regulators Roundtable was a huge success. The three-day event took place on February 15-17 at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, drawing over 225 regulators from 50 jurisdictions.

Attendance at the event doubled from last year far surpassing GLI’s expectations. Regulators came from across the United States and Canada and from as far away as Chile, Singapore and Peru, all representing a combination of tribal, state and lottery commissions.

A new edition to the conference was having Bally Gaming, Aristocrat, IGT, Shuffle Master and QuikPlay present during the first two days. They spoke about new software and technology and how it will impact regulators and their jurisdictions.

GLI Vice President and Co-founder Paul J. Magno said, “We are extremely pleased with how well this year’s roundtable turned out. Each year we see exceptional growth in the gaming industry and we are proud to be apart of it. Adding the second full day gave the regulators a better advantage in being able to learn and receive valuable information to take back to their jurisdictions. Our numbers doubled this year and in the years to come we will continue to experience more growth and a stronger demand for this conference”.

On the third day of the conference GLI offered lab tours and welcomed 66 regulators to the Las Vegas Service Center. GLI’s goal in conducting the lab tours is to give regulators a visual look at the lab and to give them a better understanding of what the lab does, further giving regulators a comfort level that when it comes to setting their own rules and regulations they know there is an independent place they can visit.

Las Vegas erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von 340 km2 und hat rund 650'000 Einwohner.
