More than 200 companies to participate in this gambling exhibition
(Rusia).- EELEX 2005, the largest trade event for the gambling industry in Russia, starts today until December 22, in Pavilion 2 of Moscow’s Expocentre, and spreads around all three halls of the pavilion covering 9,000 square meters. EELEX 2005 owner and organizer, Unicum Group, has completed a list of exhibitors that includes more than 200 companies and 125 booths from different industries related to the gambling sector.
Before the show, Sergey Kazakov, Unicum’s marketing director and one of EELEX executives, said to Yogonet.com in an exlusive interview: “If you look at the floor plan you will see that some exhibitors doubled their stands. At the same time we welcome 25 new EELEX participants who are joining the show this year”.
Talking about the expectations for 2005 EELEX edition, he pointed "Russian market shares the first place with Macao in gaming business growth; that is why everyone will be here".
The list of companies includes 30 names from the amusement equipment industry, 42 casino equipment suppliers and 82 companies featuring slot machines and supporting products. This largest selection of international and domestic goods and services is offered by 94 manufacturers, 37 distributors and 21 operators.
EELEX 2005 exhibitors represents all continents and an impressive number of nations with 70 Russian, 10 British and 9 Ukrainian companies. A sufficient share of participants will make USA, German, Italian, Spanish and Slovenian businesses.
When asked about the main conferences and events to be performed within the show, he said: "We will have an annual international conference hosted by Russian Association for Gaming Business Development “Gaming business in Russia. Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow”.
Kazakov added: "Conference topics will include the following issues: the history of gaming business in Russia, the current situation and the expectations for the future, gaming equipment manufacturing and methods of controlling counterfeit products, legislation and regulation issues, winners and losers in the gambling industry. Other subjects to be treated are: The view of the business development from the outside and governmental regulation of gaming equipment certification in Russian Federation".
The largest international equipment suppliers in the gaming industry and leading domestic manufacturers are present in EELEX 2005. Among traditional exponents are such famous brands as IGT, Novomatic, Unidesa, TCS/John Huxsley, Unicum (also representing its partners – Atronic, Bally, WMS and AGT), Fair Play, Rosgame, Villart, RIO and KSI. "All big industry players will be bringing their latest products,” Kazakov concluded.
