Nineteen Latin American and Spanish lotteries gathered in a seminar in Madrid (Spain).- On February 8-9, it was held in Madrid, Spain, the seminar “Tendencias de los Juegos en el Mercado Mundial” (Trends on the global gambling market), organized by CIBELAE (Board of Directors of the Latin American Corporation of Lotteries and Draws of the State) with the participation of 19 countries.

The opening ceremony counted with the presence of the Vice president of Transference of Benefits of CAIXA and the President of the Corporation, Carlos Borges, the General Director of Lotteries and Bets of Spain and the General Secretary of CIBELAE, Gonzalo Fernández Rodríguez, of providers and around 40 representatives of lotteries in countries like Portugal, España, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Brazil, El Salvador and Chile.

Participants discussed issues related to their particular views on commercial, organizational, social and management trends, such as responsive gaming, perspectives on the future of the gambling sector, the new games and distribution channels and the general overview of this sector worldwide.

Two roundtables were also held, organized by Carlos Borges, for the exchange of experiences on the roal of the regulator and the lottery manager, and also how do Latin American lotteries face future challenges. AssImp Loterias da Caixa
