Within its global expansion strategy, Casinos Austria International, with a strong presence in South America –it operates all the casinos and gambling venues in the province of Salta, Argentina, and administrates a casino in Las Leñas, Mendoza- continues with its investment plans worldwide.

It inaugurated a casino in the city of Belgrado (Serbia) and other three floating casinos in Windstar luxury cruises, with a proposal that includes table games and slots. In the first case, it took a year of work and will enhance its position in the city as a national and international touristic center.

Besides, floating casinos operate in Wind Star, called Wind Spirit and Wind Surf. The first two are exclusive cruises with room for 148 passengers in 73 cabins with a view to the ocean.

Casinos Austria, which started its activities in the sector of floating casinos in 1981, currently operates 13 casinos in luxury cruises. There are other 76 casinos in 19 countries and new casinos that are being built in (planned to open in 2008) and South Africa.

In 2006, Casinos Austria International and Casinos Austria AG registered total incomes of 1.26 billion euros. They received around 19 million visitors and hired a total of 10,545 employees.
