Vor wenigen Minuten ist der Final angelaufen. Es sind noch 10 Spieler im Rennen. Als letzter (11.)ausgeschieden ist Dewey Archer. Er verlor mit QQ gegen A-K von Josh Arieh. Auf dem Tisch lagen 6-7-A-6-A und machten Arieh um 4 Millionen Chip "reicher". Archer kassierte für seinen 11. Platz 373'000 Dollar

An diesem 6. Tag hat zu Beginn der Chip-Leader vom 5. Tag Gregory Paul Raymer seinen Vorsprung ausgebaut. Seine 1,8 Mio $ in Chips hat er mehr als verdreifacht. Nebst Raymer sind Matt Dean und Joshua Arieh zwischenzeitlich die grossen Gewinner. Mit $5.2 Million, bzw. $3.8 Million haben sie ihr "Stock" am erfolgreichsten ausgebaut. Dan Harrington (Vortag Platz 3, aktuell 7. Platz $1.51 Million) und Marcel Luske (Vortag 5. aktuell 4. Platz mit $1.69 Million) sind zwar nach wie vor vorne dabei, allerdings haben sie in Sachen Chips kaum Fortschritte erzielt und weisen schon einen Rückstand von über 4,5 Millionen auf den Leader auf. Luske hatte gerade einen Pot mit einem All In- Raise in der Höhe von 960'000 $ gegen Glenn Hughes gewonnen. Hugehs foldete 9-9, während dem Luske A-J offsuite hatte.

Die Müdigkeit forderte auch bereits seine Opfer. John Murphy kam eine Stunde zu spät zum Turnier. Er konnte sich zwischenzeitlich wieder erholen, schied jedoch als 13. kurz vor dem Final aus.

In der Zwischenzeit ebenfalls ausgeschieden sind 2 unserer Favoriten Charidimos 'Harry' Demetriou ($175,000 Preisgeld) und Richard Fullerton ( $120'000 Preisgeld) und Chris Ferguson ($120,000 Preisgeld). Dieser verlor beinahe eine Million in einem einzigen "All In Spiel". Von dieser Niederlage erholte er sich nicht mehr und schied wenige Spiele später als 26. aus.
