Leaked data of Macau’s January gambling revenue shows a 17 percent year-over-year dip, reports Forbes magazine.

The magazine said Portugal's Lusa News Agency published the leaked information that some analysts call a good estimate of what the official data will show.

According to the Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, the first 2009 update on gambling revenues in the region will be posted to its Web site in late April.
