Leisure & Gaming Sponsors Italian Football Club

14.04.2009, On Tuesday, Leisure & Gaming said that it has become the main sponsor of Unione Sportiva Città di Palermo, a top level Italian football club, through the 2010-11 league season.

I believe that L&G has pulled off a significant coup by signing a sponsorship deal with Palermo," said Richard Creed, the company’s chief executive, in a prepared statement.

Team T-shirts and banners will carry the logo of the London-based online and land-based betting provider’s Italian subsidiary, Betshop Italia.

"Betshop and Palermo have a shared passion for football," said Riccardo Tamiro, the company’s country manager. "We also have a common goal: to create value via a partnership based on respect and mutual benefit."
