WPT Spanish Poker Championship from 24th to June 30th

14.05.2009, The Spanish stage of the World Poker Tour (WPT) will be held from 24th to June 30th at the Casino Barcelona.

This is the third consecutive time that this Casino belonging to Group Peralada hosts the tournament, which is one of the most distinguished poker circuit at the international level. In its 2008 edition was attended by over 253 players and 1265 Euros in prize money, so this year is expected with great excitement.

The main event begins on Friday June 26 and concludes with the final on Tuesday June 30. Players who are interested in participating in the tournament may register by paying the entry of 5,300 Euros, or may fall through the super- satellites, wich will be on June 24 and 25 from 15:00 am in the same Casino Barcelona, which will have a purchase price of 220 Euros.

In turn, the casino has organized satellites "step by step", which will be held every Tuesday during the months of May and June and will help players in their ranking for the main event. From only 25 € +5 €, every Tuesday will be held May satellites stages of first level (step 1) to reward players with tickets to top-level satellites. Tuesday 2 and June 9 will take place the second satellite (step 2), € 200 + € 10, and June 16 will be held on 3 step that will reward the winners with direct entry to WPT Spanish Championship .
