Michael Keiner Eliminated in 7th Place ($30,562)

Short-stacked Michael Keiner held on just long enough to earn a few extra dollars. Immediately after the elimination of Mark Gregorich, Keiner was all in against Derek Raymond with As, 5h, 5d, 10h. Raymond's ragged hand, Jc, 9s, 4h, 3d, was best on a board that came Kh, Jh, 8d, 8c, 6c. He made jacks and eights to best Keiner's eights and fives, and like that -- Keiner is gone.

Quite the Exciting Crowd Usually at these WSOP feature final tables, spectators are allowed into the seating area but are instructed not to crowd the table during particularly dramatic hands. That's not the case tonight. Everyone in the gallery (the Italian contingent that is here in support of Fabio Coppola has grown quite large) is rushing the table during pivotal all-in confrontations. Currently we count about sixteen players on the floor directly around the table, another dozen or so standing at their chairs and another dozen seated.

Ursprünglich wurden die Tourniere in Las Vegas Downtown im Binion's Horseshoe Casino ausgetragen. Im Jahre 2005 kaufte Caesars den Brand WSOP. Seit diesem Datum werden die Pokermeisterschaften im Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino durchgeführt.
