Italy’s Microgame Adds Online Rummy to People's Network

10.01.2010, Italian remote gaming provider, Microgame S.p.A, has signed an agreement with online software provider RM Royal Media Ltd to integrate online rummy games into the People's Network, the biggest online player community in Italy with 1.4 million registered players.

Under the agreement, Microgame will expand its skill games offering with the launch of an advanced online multiplayer rummy network during the first quarter of 2010 including Italian game variations such as Scala Quaranta, Burraco and Ramino, alongside other popular rummy variations.

More than 1.4 million registered players on the People's Network, which includes over 60 gaming operators served by Microgame, will have access to the rummy games at Sit & Go tables and multi-table tournaments for fun or real money.

"Italians proved to be enthusiastic players of Rummy. We are delighted to join forces with Microgame, an industry leader in the Italian market, and offer Italian rummy fans to join our ever growing online Rummy Community," said Udy Yosha, Chairman of RM Royal Media.
