The city circuit could sustitute Indianapolis Grand Prix US).- US Grand Prix Formula One would change its venue the following year, if statements by Bernie Ecclestone are confirmed. He assured that Las Vegas could become a city circuit in case negociations with Indianapolis circuit do not succeed.



Indianapolis agreement with Ecclestone finished on July 3rd, a day after the celebration of Grand Prix Formula One 2006, and Ecclestone has declared that the Italian magazine “Autosprint” prefers to leave to Las Vegas.

Ecclestone has commented:“We are working on that”. However, Indianapolis circuit is also working on that, according to its spokesman, Fred Nation: “We had conversations after the career last year and decided to wait until July 2nd –date of the current race - in order to confirm that it could be a success instead of a failure”.
