The winner Keven Stammen

Congratulations to Keven Stammen, Winner of Event No. 13, $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em ($506,786)

After two long, 13-hour days of play, 20 players returned today to determine who would be taking home the gold bracelet and over a half a million dollars for winning Event No. 13. It only took about half as long today -- about seven-and-a-half hours -- for those 20 to play down to one, with Keven "Stamdogg" Stammen being the one to claim all of the chips.

After four cashes at the 2008 WSOP, Stammen wins his first WSOP bracelet. Phil Ivey, Roland de Wolfe, and Kirill Gerasimov were all among the 20 who returned today, but all fell early in the afternoon, and within three hours we had rapidly arrived at our ten- handed final table. At that point, Bahador Ahmadi had the chip lead, with Angel Guillen and Stammen close behind. Players continued to be eliminated at a fast clip until play reached five-handed, at which point Torrey Reily -- having nursed his short stack all of the way to a six-figure score -- was finally ousted in fifth place.

Within minutes Stammen had knocked out both Ahmadi in fourth and Glines in third, and after just 70 hands at the ten-handed final table, we were down to two. When heads up began, Stammen enjoyed a better than 2-to-1 chip advantage over Guillen. He increased his lead, but Guillen fought back, and it was starting to look as though we may be in for a lengthy heads-up battle.

But on the 20th hand, Guillen flopped top pair of nines and got it all in versus Stammen's pocket jacks, and Stammen's hand held up, giving him the bracelet. Congratulations to Keven Stammen for coming out on top of a field of 1,088 runners to win Event No. 13. Thanks for following our coverage, and be sure to come back to PokerNews for all things WSOP.

Negreanu, so close to his next Bracelet

Result: 1. Brock Parker $223,697 2. Daniel Negreanu $138,280 3. Tommi Horkko $89,660 4. Kevin Hong $60,884 5. Barry Shulman $43,201 6. Kyle Ray $31,966 7. James Buckley $23,178 8. Shawn Buchanan $23,178 9. Nikolay Losev $16,814 10. Robert Como $16,814

Congratulations to Brock Parker, Event #14 Champion! ($223,688)

It was a long three days of limit hold'em, but the action never stopped here in Event #14, $2,500 Six-handed Limit Hold'em. Brock Parker kept himself in the middle of the pack on the first two days and did his best at all times to keep himself in contention. It looked as if Daniel Negreanu was going to run away with this gold bracelet and claim another in his career, but Brock Parker was too much of a challenge heads up. Parker was down a hefty amount of chips to Negreanu, but he battled back against one of poker's juggernauts to take down his first ever WSOP gold bracelet!

The action began with 367 entrants and Parker was able to best them all. This win was his largest tournament score ever and was worth more than all of his previous tournament winnings combined. Known as an online guru, Parker has now made a name for himself in the live realm. Congratulations to Brock Parker on his first WSOP gold bracelet and capturing the title of Event #14!
