Analyst: MGM Mirage balance sheet under control

14.09.2009, NEW YORK -- MGM Mirage's balance sheet concerns appear to be under control, an analyst said Monday, but added the casino operator's stock price may be too high.

Robert LaFleur of Susquehanna Financial Group said in a client note that the Las Vegas- based company's "assets seem richly valued."

Right now, investors appear willing to overlook still-lackluster fundamentals and valuation levels that we have only seen in the 2006-2007 bubble years and back in 2005 during the industry's last merger and acquisition boom," he added.

LaFleur reiterated a "Negative" rating and $4 price target.
